About My Approach
Whether you are seeking counselling support around a very specific area of your life or deeper psychotherapy to address more complex issues,
I bring a wealth of experience to working with teens, adults, and families in the Greater Toronto Area and virtually, throughout the rest of Ontario. With more than 25 years experience in agencies and private practice, I am ready to work with you to tailor a process and path forward in non-judgmental, supportive, and collaborative ways.
My background in clinical social work means that I look not only at the individual and "the problems," but take a more holistic approach. This includes looking at people's strengths and supports as well as identifying and naming the many systems that also impact our sense of mental health and well being, such as sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, forms of religious oppression, etc.
